Robert M. Adochio graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University in 1975 and received his Juris Doctor degree from The Widener University Law Center in 1978. He was admitted to the practice of law in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey in 1978 and the United States Supreme Court in 1999. He is now a municipal prosecutor for the City of New Brunswick and Rutgers University.
Robert specializes in personal injury trial law including automobile accidents, defective products, fall down accidents and Work related injuries. He also defends clients in criminal law proceedings, as well as DWI and traffic cases in the Municipal Court and with all types of Litigation. His law firm offers free initial consultations and works on a contingency-fee basis for personal injury suits where there is no attorney’s fee paid unless there is a successful recovery.
Robert was certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney in 1997 and re-certified in 2004, 2009
and 2014. Certification assures that Robert has met or exceeded the standards of competence as set forth by the Supreme Court.
He is an adjunct instructor in the Criminal Justice
program at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ.

Volunteer Work: Robert volunteers his time as a member of the Middlesex County Legal Services, an organization that provides free legal help to individuals who could not otherwise afford this service and with the High School Mock Trial program.
Robert is also the former Lehigh University Division III club ice hockey coach.
Speaking Engagements: Robert performs many speaking engagements throughout the year for high schools, colleges, senior citizen and other civic organizations. Distinguished Accomplishments Include: Robert obtained a $4.4 million award for a World Trade Center widow as a member of Trial Lawyers Care, Inc., the largest pro bono effort ever undertaken by the legal profession.
He is presently the New Brunswick Municipal court prosecutor who successfully prosecuted the case of State vs. Jane Chun, which is the seminal case regarding the Alcotest 7110 Mk IIIc Breath testing instrument presently used in the State of New Jersey to prosecute Drunk Driving violations.
